Our Team
Steve Elkins is a USA Archery Level 4 NTS Coach and competitive archer, and the head of FFX Archery. He has been coaching Olympic Recurve, Compound, Barebow, and Traditional archery in Northern Virginia since 2017.
He coaches archers of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced. He is also a coach for the USA Archery Regional Elite Program (REP EAST).
Coach Steve has participated in numerous local and national tournaments, and most recently won the gold medal at the 2022 Indoor Nationals (Virginia sectional) tournament. He served as Tournament Director for the 2023 Virginia State Indoor and Outdoor Championships.

Ahnika Emery is a USA Archery Level 4 NTS Coach and a competitive archer. She also has a Masters of Education Degree from the University of Virginia.
Ahnika has been training and coaching at Bull Run Park since 2010, where she is well known for her ability to provide archers a solid archery foundation.
She has participated in many local Virginia and national indoor and outdoor competitions. She most recently won the gold medal at the 2021 and 2022 Virginia Outdoor State tournaments.
Brandon Lee is a USA Archery Level 3 NTS Coach and competitive archer. He started shooting in 2018 with the James Madison University Archery Team, and has been coaching since early 2020. Coach Brandon has participated in multiple indoor and outdoor competitions, most recently winning the silver medal at the 2023 Virginia State Outdoor Championship.
